A cover I did for our feature project presentation document. I wanted to put behind Max his friends, but there are not yet designed, so that will be for later. Hopefully I was able to put a magical and mysterious feel to the image.

Vinland feature project

Quite busy these days with my NFB short, but we are still also working on my feature project Vinland on the side, hoping to present a new script version to Telefilm Canada by the end of the year. Here's a concept art vignette I did with my friends Pierre and Christian.

Bashung

A digital painting I did of one of my favorite french music artist, Alain Bashung, who just died of cancer. His music is awesome, a great and unique artist. I don't think anybody will be able to fill up the empty space he left.

Here are the designs for the characters of my next short, Les yeux Noirs. They might not be 100% final final, but they are gonna look at lot like that. I decided to have fun with the limbs, if you look at the arms, they bend without logic, and the sholders are not even aligned! Let's go crazy.

Samuel

I new version for the character os Samuel, in my feature Vinland project. I had to reajust him fallowing the lastest rewrite of the script. He's changing from a shaman to a college teacher. Quite a change of status!

I did a rough drawing of a very famous 70's live action TV show of Quebec called "Le capitaine Bonhomme". He was like a french Canadian version of the Munchausen baron. A great character that would make a great animated flick.
